For Sale SOLD: Fuji X-Ray Film

Unopened 100 sheet box of 11x14 double sided film, past date (2013) but should still be good. Easily cut down to smaller sizes, requires dark red safe light I'm still using an even older box (2009) and it's good.

It’s a really cheap way of shooting 8x10 or larger formats. It’s tricky to work with because of the emulsion on both sides but people shoot it very successfully

Double sided x ray film is used in amplifying cassettes with phosphores.

Are these films exposed to what?

I used to shoot it in my 11x14 camera, I also cut it down for use in my 5x7 and 8x10 cameras, also to make enlarged negatives for alt printing from small and medium format original negatives. I have several sheets fixed out for tissues for carbon transfer printing. I use enlarged inter positives for silk screen printing. I'm winding down my photo activities and am "lightening the load" now so my Mrs and/or kids don't have to deal with it.

I've been using mamo film in my Crown Graphic. I cut it down in a darkroom and it's a really cheap way to learn 4x5. How to load and develop and handle the stuff. Some of it is getting a little harder to find than in the past though.

Health care enterprises do not use film any more. It's all digital. All xray film would likely be fairly old or sold into 3rd world countries.

There's still a healthy market for film. My neighbor is a chiropractor and still uses film. Many industries require it.

Partially the latter, partially it's used by non-human healtchare (industrial use, vets etc.) and part is indeed likely consumed in developing nations. Either way, it's still being produced - albeit sparingly, and probably in decreasing volumes and variants.

Silver going up ....somewhat like gold. I remember the days when silver was 50$/oz. It just flattened the xray business. It did create another business though.....stealing used x ray film and recycling unused silver.
