Hi folks,
I have for sale a vacuum contact printing frame. It is made from hard maple. It has an max image area of roughly 13x17 inches. The overal dimensions minus the handle is roughly 17 1/2 X 21 1/2 inches. The flexible membrane is fairly robust (think Jeep soft top windows) and allows for tight contact with the glass while also allowing for the use of indexing pins if you want to do multi exposure alt process work like gum bichromate or gum over platinum/palladium etc. At just over 2 inches thick with vacuum on it will slide under most UV exposure units with ease.
I would like $250 for the frame alone. I do have a new vacuum pump as well I can include as well for $75. The pump doesn’t have a vacuum mist filter which you would need to get separately. It will work with a rotary vane or a diaphragm vacuum pump like Nuarc uses in some of their plate burners with integrated vacuum frames. North American sales only please. If you have any questions please pm me.
