🌟SOLD!🌟 for shipping cost:

Ok, I give up.
FREE....just pay $20 CONUS shipping.

A MYSTERY 9x12 cm metal folding view camera.
Unknown original maker...possibly Zeiss, ICA, Voigtlander?
Heavily modified....previous owner was a machinist/tool& die maker/tinkerer.
Lovely olive green naugahyde covering. 🤨
Bellows appear to be in excellent condition, but untested for pinholes.
Camera has geared front movements, and some really clever interlocks.
Rotating back.
Image area opening at rear of camera measures 88mm x 115mm.
Serial number reads "A 59751".
No lens, ground glass attachment, or film/plate holders included.
A fun winter restoration or custom modification project with a lot of potential...a dense, compact unit (6.5" x 6.5" x 2.5") when folded up, easily fits in a camera bag or backpack.
LOTS of potential for repair or as a parts donor!
See photos!
SOLD! as-is.
FREE, just pay $20 CONUS Priority Mail shipping...I'll cover PayPal fees.

This camera appears to take metal-type single-sheet film or plate holders.
Since I don't know the original camera manufacturer, I can't specify exactly which holders it takes.
There is some information in a sticky post in the "Plate Cameras" subforum that might be helpful.

That started life as a Zeiss or ICA camera, maybe an Ideal. It takes the Ideal type film holders, but will also take the single or double holders from the 9 x12 Juwel which has a rotating back. I don't think the Ideal ever had a square body though.

Apologies for the bold type, I detest computers with their own minds

🌟Still available! 🌟

Seller is motivated!
I'd also trade for some 35mm B/W film...what have you?

Someone should snatch this up!

I simply have committed to something else, else I would have, just to work with it.
