For sale is a Dallmeyer Petzval Patent 2A Lens in excellent condition. The focal length is 13.5" and the maximum aperture is f/4. It will cover the half-plate size at infinity, and is said to cover 8x10 at portrait distances. The glass is quite clean, except for a couple of insignificant marks on the rear element. The focusing is smooth. There are no Waterhouse stops. The lens is mounted with a flange on a wooden board, about 145mm square. The lens weighs about 2.8 kilos, so make sure your camera can handle it.
