SOLD

Well, everything related to the scanner.
Complete turnkey system, just hook it up and start making the best scans you've ever seen.

Here's what I have:
Creo Eversmart Pro scanner
Mac G4 (incl screen & keyboard/mouse)
All software for Mac and scanner
Calibration slide and all the accessories that originally came with the scanner
Extra G4 as a backup (no OS or software installed on it but disks are included)

This is a great machine with a 12x17 inch scanning bed.
Scan with zero fuss, just place your film on the bed and get to it.
No Newton rings - ever - because the top glass is pressure mounted.

Caveats:
The scanner has a few superficial cracks in its plastic outer shell
Some panels are not fully tight because, again, some of the plastic bits are not intact. This happened when I first got the scanner. Again superficial.
The left side hinge is missing a screw, causing the hinge to sit a little high. No effect on scans.

It certainly has its quirks, which I'd be happy to describe to anyone interested in talking to me about it.

You can email me at ari@flmcanada.com and I'll provide all the details.

Asking $1750.00 USD local pick up only. I'd like to see this go to a good home, it's a great scanner.
I'm in Ottawa, about 40 minutes drive north of Ogdensburg, NY.
I'm happy to help you load it but I cannot ship it.

Thanks, Bob, much appreciated. Feel free to pass along my email.

Thought I'd include manufacturer's specs:
* Batch Scan Capability: yes
* Density Max: 4.0
* Density Range: 3.7
* Electrical Requirements: 100-240V, 50/60Hz, 275 W
* Interface(s): SCSI
* Light Sensor: moving 3-color CCD head (3x 8000 pixels)
* Maximum Input Size:
- Reflective: 12"x17"
- Transparency: 12"x17"
* Maximum Resolution:
- True optical resolution: 3175 dpi over the entire scanner format
- Interpolated resolution: 8200 over the entire scanner format
* OS Compatibility: Mac only
* Output Data: CMYK & RGB, 42-bits (14-bits per color)
* Physical:
- Width: 34"
- Height: 14"
- Depth: 27.5"
- Weight: 154 lbs
* Productivity: 20 scans per hour (6 cm x 7cm @ 300 dpi, 250% enlargement, CMYK)
* Scanner Type: desktop scanner

Speaking practically, I usually scan 8x10 film at 600dpi, maybe 750dpi.
That yields a 14.3 x 18 inch print at 360 dpi.
A scan that size takes about 180 seconds.

Cool to see one of these come up for sale. I had the 1st version, Eversmart 1 I guess you would call it. I just found a "near mint", to use the Japanese eBay term, Screen Cezanne Elite. Michael Streeter also answered a bunch of questions for me, great guy. GLWS.
