A Conley Model XVIa 5"x7" Double Extension folding camera!
The leatherette is in rough shape, but some leather stain and a few coats of shoe polish will fix that! The platform that holds the front standard when the camera is closed is missing, but that's not much of an issue; there's little movement of the standard when the camera is closed.
The bellows is light-tight, and the ground glass is good. The cover for the ground glass have become detached, but that's not a difficult repair. The lensboard is fitted with a screw-in fitting for the lens/shutter. The front standard clamp is firm, and the extensions move in/out easily via the knob.
This model has a rotating back, with the small button on top locking the back in place. There are five (5) vintage 5x7 holders included, but modern 5x7 cut film holders will also work in this body!
There are two bubble levels on the left side of the bed. It does not appear that a viewfinder was ever attached to the bed; I see no evidence of it being removed (it would be where the nameplate is located). There are tripod mounts on the base and on the bed (use the bed mount when the bellows is fully extended).
A fairly good specimen of the Conley XVIa, so buy it today! You won't come across this model very often!
$175, shipped in USA. $150 + S/H for international (S/H to be determined).
