This is a Canon Power Winder A. The battery compartment is clean. The winder appears to be working. It powers up and advances as it should, but I have not fully tested this on an actual camera body. It appears little used and the cosmetic condition is excellent. This winder has a little clip on it which can store the camera body motor drive cover, and it is now populated with a motor drive cover, likely from whatever A-series Canon body this was last used on. This winder uses 4X common AA batteries (not included).

Sold as shown with a fitted leather case (also in good condition) and Canon SLR body motor drive cover .

These are nice, little two frames a second winders for the full "A" series cameras and if I were not interested in something that requires a bit of restraint, I'd be on this in a new age second.

You might try winding a practice roll of 35mm through it to be sure it's still got the tork to pull its weight.
