Edit to fix model number...

Up for sale is a nice Canon IId2 Rangefinder. The camera was CLA'd about two years ago ( I purchased it June 2019 ). Everything works just fine but 1 second is close to 2 seconds. 1/2 is close to 1. 1/4 on up sound about right. Rangefinder patch is clear. The magnifier works and is helpful to focus better with a 50mm lens or use it for approximating 100mm and 135mm. Very clean condition and no dings or deep scratches. Just that one spot on the corner of the bottom plate. The spool is included. $125 shipped in US

looks like a IId2
later than a IIb
has the newer shutter with lock on the slow speeds, with the index for reading the high speeds in the center of dial ,
film reminder on wind knob
has a larger eye piece hole - still small but a great improvement.
made in 1955-56

You're right. I bought it in June of 2019. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I don't know the seller, or the item.
However I have two Canon IIbs, and they are every bit as good as the Leica they were cloned from - except the variable magnification viewfinder/rangefinder is a real improvement. The 'damage" on the bottom right corner of the sale piece is bad chrome, nothing to be afraid of. Really nice camera. I use mine with a '46 Summitar and a 3 1/2" Wollensak. This camera for sale has detail improvements on the IIb, and for all those who ask why these things aren't being made today, they would cost thousands. One can have this for a month's starschmucks money.

That is a good looking Camera, clone or no.

Can someone buy this already? I already spent my budget on cameras and this camera would have been a better option than what I got.
