Starting to make some room in the darkroom and clear some items off of the shelf. This Canon F1 New seems to be a pretty good daily shooter. I'm actually running a roll through it now to test it. I don't know much about it, but picked it up long ago and simply put on the shelf to display it.
The seals don't look so hot, hence the film test. However, I do have a brand new seal kit that should be here in the next day or two that will either be put in it, or at the least included with it.
I'm trying to price it based on condition. the lens seems to have some markings on the rear element that look like fungus to me. Not heavy, but around the edge. I was going to take it apart and clean it, but simply don't have the time. Doesn't appear like it would impact the image. Tried to show it in the one pic (if you look to the left you'll see it).
The F1 body seems to be operating fine. I put in a new battery and the meter responds as it should. It could use a good cleaning. The viewfinder has some marks inside of it, which I tried to show as well. I don't notice them when shooting though.
The motor drive is cooked. It's just being tossed in.
The speed finder seems to be in great shape. It's pretty cool to use and I really dig how you can shoot waist level by turning it up.
Anyway, selling it all together for the asking price of $395. Like I said, not perfect, but I think it'll make a great daily driver that you could use for a long time.
