~~For Sale~~: SOLD. Canon 50mm ƒ/1.8 LTM lens, compact black and silver model, probably a Type III from the early 1960s (not the earlier heavy chrome body). This one is clean with no haze! When I bought it, it had some minor fungus, but Don Goldberg (DAG Camera) cleaned and checked it for me in 2022. The focus is smooth, and the coating looks intact. The black aluminum barrel has lost some color. 40mm filter size; one L39 slim filter included, Ser. VI adapter, and caps.

This is a beautifully made little lens, an example of 1960s Japanese optical excellence. The lens is contrasty and pairs well with any of the Leica thread mount bodies. I have not tried it with a digital body.
