Hello,
Here is a sturdy built small metal box type camera with a pretty 64mm wide angle lens. This camera uses 120 roll film for a 6x9cm image or 6.5x9 single sided film holders if you wanted.
It is about 4.75x3.75x2.5 inches in size and weighs about 17 oz/480grams. The glass is pretty clean. The aperture turns smoothly and the shutter runs and sounds good even at the slow speed.
Taylor Taylor and Hobson were a respected lens maker back in the day and later added the lens maker Cooke to the company. This seems to be in good shape overall but the little red window is missing the little red color plastic piece. I would cut a small corner out of a polycontrast filter or an old wratten filter, or even some brown plastic off a loaf of whole wheat bread or most any brown, yellow or red clear plastic and add it back in place. You can see on the rear of the camera that this will be easy to do because the trim plate around the red window is right there and comes off with screws.
One of the pictures with this listing shows more information on this camera and how the depth of field works as the focus.
I've used one of these cameras before and it is a mighty fun little camera that made a nice large print for me.
I have priced this camera low because it's somewhat cosmetically challenged and the little red window deal.
$169 total. I pay the Paypal fees and free shipping to your door in the USA.
Thanks for looking,
Robert
