Ok, I have no idea why or how I got this Gordy strap that is 60, that is sixty, inches long. Must have ordered it on some kind of peyote fueled late night bender.
Under advice from counsel, I should stop talking..

What we have here is a very nice, and very long brown leather strap. Supple and soft. If you are 7ft tall, this is your strap.

$20 shipped/pp.

It's probably a bit too long for my son - he's a bit over 6' 5".

Dog leash, yeah?

To give an idea about this perfect length, I am 5'10" and slim build. With this just around my neck my camera can act like a fig leaf, as it hangs right down there. So think of this a modesty strap if you happen to be on a nudist beach, taking pics of, erm, wildlife.
The bigger your gut and/or the taller you are, the higher up your body the camera will be.
If you hang your camera across the neck and one shoulder so it dangles on your side - the way all us pros do - then it will sit a little higher. And perhaps you get a kick out of that gunslinger look?

RolleiCo mentioned using it as a jump rope. A good idea but please first remove the camera. I don't want to hear stories about broken M7s.

I would use it cross body. I set up all my straps that way.
But I don't need another.

Also... if somehow you are stranded in the middle o nowhere, I am pretty sure you could survive for a few days on this strap.
I do not recommend consuming Gordy straps, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
