M42 lenses. All reasonably clean and clear, some dust from sitting in my cabinet too long.

Zeiss Tessar 50mm f/2.8 silver preset aperture lens. Body a little rough Glass and aperture look great. Focus movement a little tight but fully functional. Not many of these show up. I love Tessars, but this one has been sitting too long.

Pentax Super Takumar 55mm f/1.8. Glass clean, focus smooth. Aperture blades clean. No caps.

Vivitar 200mm f/3.5 with built-in hood and tripod collar. This one makes great pics. Only issue is it’s stop-down metering only; the auto/manual switch is missing from the mount

All three for just $50 + $15 shipping.

ConUS only (apologies to int’l friends).

Mir 1B (Soviet Flektogon, I’m told), 37mm f/2.8. This one is extra clean. Odd double aperture ring, one has click-stops, the other doesn’t (good for video?).

It likely only has one aperture ring in the actual sense, the ring without click-stops. This ring thus operates the aperture.
The other ring with the click-stop is to preset the smallest aperture as end-stop for stopping down.

Nothing odd about it, but such is the classic form of a preset aperture.
As you indicated, very useful for cinematography. The same time if such ring is not damped well and loose, the aperture could be accidentially be mis-set.

I see. I’ve had other preset lenses, inc’g the Tessar here. Should have known. Both rings move freely anf not loosely...

Thanks!
