I went on a Packard shutter hunt when I got my 11x14 camera, and I bought these on evilBay by mistake— turns out they are too big (7-1/2” square, roughly 4” opening) for my biggest camera. The one with the rusty front had broken blades, but just for fun I taped the chunks together with my beloved 3M 850 polyethylene tape, and it now works, for the kind of exposures one does with a Packard. It takes a little more air than the velvet-fronted one, which has intact blades and works fine. Comes with the clear tubing shown, but no bulb. These would be good for big ol’ studio cameras with big ol’ barrel lenses, and overkill for most anything else. Price is right at THIRTY EIGHT DAMN U.S. DOLLARS for both; shipping in the CONUS is a flat SEVENTEEN BUCKS for USPS Priority. AL, HI, PR will be higher. I don’t think these are worth shipping internationally, but as long as you are fine with them being very old and beat up and one of them is held together with tape and shipping might take a year or be VERY expensive, go ahead and make me an offer from across the seas.
