I am looking for an upgrade to Lightroom's built-in panorama stitching feature. I have been using it for camera-scanning medium format negatives. Occasionally it refuses to admit that two images can be stitched, usually when there's too much of solid/smooth areas. It also doesn't seem to be designed for stitching perfectly flat images, it's made with an assumption of a pivoting camera. So adds a bit of distortion to a stitched image, but 99% of the time it's not noticeable. However, as I am getting into medium format, I need to stitch 4 shots instead of two. So I'm looking for a better option.
My requirements are not that high:
My requirements are not that high:
- Ease of use. I played with a stitching tool (its name escapes me at the moment) a few years ago with a shit ton of parameters and settings. I don't need that.
- Runs on Windows
- TIFF-16 support
- DNG support would be even better, i.e. stitch 4 DNGs into one DNG
