Soft focus meniscus lenses, using the historical design originated by William Wollaston (England, 1812).

Superb for portraiture, pictorial style landscapes, table top, wet plate, alternative, and abstract photography.

Available in 135mm up to 500mm focal lengths, unmounted or custom mounted on a lensboard of your choice. All lenses are supplied with five aperture stop cards (aka: "Waterhouse Stops"), front filter ring, and lens cap.

William Wollaston (England, 1812).

He was a very interesting character and believe his contemporaries use to refer to him as the Pope. I think he invented the camera lucida from seeing a virtual image from a crack in his shaving mirror.

These lenses are tools for the artist.
They can close the eyes to reality, then re-open them to the imagination.
See differently.
