Sodium tetrachloropalladate(II) (Na2PdCl4) for European pt/pd printers

Hi all,

This message is for European (actually, "non-US") pt/pd printers.

Is there anyone who would be interested in buying standard Na2PdCl4 solution (15.3%, 0.52M - contains 5.53% pure Pd) for pd or pt/pd printing? (Works well with both FO and AFO.)

I will provide the solution in (only) 100ml bottles, labeled accordingly.
Price per 100ml bottle will be EUR 150.00 + shipping.

This is just a survey for the moment; I don't have the goods on hands right now. OTOH, I may decide to compound / mix and package if there's enough interest...

That's exactly the same price as B&S but without the added 100ml ferric oxalate lumped in.

I can't provide FO - since I don't have access to that, also, I absolutely don't like FO - but I can provide 100ml AFO (45%, 1.05M - %1 excess Fe(III) for maximum yield and eliminating the risk of unnecessary / extra wastage) bundled in, for extra EUR 15. That will increase the shipment price, of course. (Albeit how much I can't tell right now...) What's the cost of shipment when buying from the States? I think total / net cost will be less for you, if you take shipment into account - that's "The" idea actually...

Ok, got the compound (first batch - tested OK) on hands, net cost is clear for me now...

What about
a. 100ml Na2PdCl4 (0.52M) + 100ml AFO (1.05M) = EUR 135.00 + S&H
b. 100ml Na2PdCl4 (0.52M) = EUR 127.50 + S&H

(S&H ~= EUR 25, to continental Europe. Ask for other destinations - except US!)

It's "molar" units - moles of matter per liter of solvent.

Philippe it's the concentration of the solution. (The mole equivalent of the compound in a 1000ml solution - as Kirk explained...)

Na2PdCl4 is 294.21g / mole, therefore 0.52M concentration means 0.52M * 294.21g / 1000ml ~= 15.3%
