Now I wonder what harm Kodalk could be used for... Governmental banning on this chemical is something I can't figure.
It is not "banned" due to potentially nefarious uses. It has been reclassified as a reprotoxin (along with other borates) by the E.U. and the public is no longer able to purchase it. Industrial & commercial users can still use these chemicals as the requirements on effluent treatment is much higher than on a domestic user.
It is not the digital revolution that will kill off film photography, but by Eurocrats restricting and banning key chemicals from sale.
