Well, yeah, it is a cool camera. And nobody has ever asked "Wow, what is this?" or said "OMG, I can't believe how cool it is" when seeing Fuji Finepix. People tend to say that about my Lubitel.digiconvert said:How can I not welcome someone who has posted a photo taken with a Lubitel ? Go on be honest the Lubitel wins over the Fuji Finepix every time
You can use the tape to attach a film to the backDidzis said:There's no need to apply large amounts of black tape to a Finepix, though...
Well, be prepared to see lots of changes, both St. Petersburg and Tallinn have been developing really fast, and 1998 now almost seems like Middle Ages. And, by all means, do visit Latvia and Lithuania, it is not really that hard but can be a pretty rewarding experience as the countries (and their capitals) are quite different; Tallinn was pretty much destroyed during WWII, which makes it a great place for those who enjoy eclectic Soviet architecture, Riga is really mini-encyclopedia of architecture with almost all the main styles being represented, and Vilnius feels more like Poland (which, in fact, it was for a long time).frugal said:I spent 4 months in St. Petersburg back in '98 so I can relate to a lot of the soviet architecture in your photos. Twice I've tried to make it to Latvia (as well as Lithuania) and have only gotten as far as Tallinn, Estonia. I'm planning to do a "10 years later" trip back to St. Petersburg in 2008 so maybe I'll have to make a 3rd attempt.
