It's a 20" Pro Mate II that I acquired some time ago thinking that I might set it up. HA! I haven't had the time, or will have for the foreseeable future. I've talked to the local darkroom and they are not interested. I've tried donating it to the community college here, but they weren't interested in starting a color program even after I showed them the great deals on roll paper that can be had at the auction site. They shove them from B&W straight into Digital.

So the question is, what do I do with this thing? I have BOXES of spare parts, socks, filters, several fan banks etc.

Is it worth anything on the used market?

Does anyone know a educational facility that would use it if it was donated?

Send me your ideas

Wow, I made my first color print using a HUGE Kreonite machine at Santa Monica College back in the mid-eighties! That machine must have weighed a half-ton or so. The renowned L.A. photographer, John Humble was teaching the color printing course in SMC's well-equipped color photo-lab.

I just finished throwing a big old nasty kreonite into the dumpster. Tried to give it away, even had a second one to use for parts and still no takers. Unfortunately they are well past their prime. To bad really.
