A friend of mine is experiencing a big trouble on his honeymoon memories.
He shot thousands of slides which are, nowadays, almost completely covered up with fungus.
Any idea if this is recoverable ?
Any advice is welcome.

I have seen excellent results from Digital ICE on a Kodak HR500 scanner with 40 year old Kodachrome slides.

You could use PEC-12 emulsion cleaner but this might make things worse.
