Hello, Does anyone know if there are currently any slide film cutters still available for the European market? A few years ago when living in the USA I used to have a simple one like this one (Matin slide cutter) but it is one of those items that was “misplaced” during the move to Europe. Here it seems not to he sold anymore. I looked at used ones on websites selling second-hand items but can only find 35mm ones (most have small lightbulbs below the cutter, which is nice). Saw one 6x4.5 one, but no 6x6. I’d welcome any hint about where to find that !

The Matin ones seem to still be available through Amazon and eBay here in Canada. Perhaps you can convince someone to buy one here and forward it to you.

Is Matin not offered on Ebay in Europe??

I have an old Kindermann unit I use to cut 35mm slides, then mount in Gepe glassless mounts with a Gepe press. I have a Matin cutter I use for 6x6 slides.

Wasn’t the diacut only 35mm ? All those I’ve seen on classifieds websites were 35mm.. so maybe a specific model of the diacut ?

With the new EU rules since 07/2021, the full country VAT is applied to whatever comes through the customs from outside the EU, even if you are receiving an object that you already own and was sent for repair !

I did not understand that you were looking for 62mm cutters only. Your link does not work for me.

Cutters for rollfilm were already a rarity in the old days. I have not got such myself, never came across such.
To my understanding out of the german accessory manufacturers/importers only Hama offered such, and only in the 90's

Thanks for pointing me to Hama. I found a used RC60/RC93 online. That should answer my needs.
