I apologize if this is not the place to post this question. When I have posted images to Photrio gallery when you click on them they appear so big they are hard to view. I see other posts that do not have this problem and was wondering how they did it. I assume it involves saving the digital file to a smaller size.

I usually resize a photo to be 1000 pixels on the long dimension. That works well on a computer monitor well as on a typical tablet. I agree with you that Gallery images are often too large. Scans of paper prints at large size tend to show flaws and the limitations of the 135 format, plus being 3rd generation (negative, print, scan).

Same as Kodachromeguy I save-for-web in PS Elements and make it 1000 pixels on the longer side.
