I have finished a major site update this night and included a small documentation, how my Leica M6 rangefinder adjustment went.

I will write about more topics in some time and update the website accordingly.
It might be interesting for Leica M6 users, who want to lay hands on their camera on their own.

Leica M6 repairs generally

Interesting that you posted this info - I haven't read through it properly yet, but it looks useful. I was only just this morning thinking that I needed to ask someone about Leica M6 repair information...

Is there any other reliable existing source of Leica repair/adjustment information? If I knew that I was about to head off to a desert island for the next 20 years with just my M6 and a fat toolbox, is there some sort of decent repair manual I could download or buy to take with me?

Ian, I am afraid, I do not have this sort of information.
I would be happy, to hear about a source of a M6 repair manual.

There are some very skilled and knowledgeable people over at the rangefinder forum, who will know the answers to specific repair issues regarding the different Leica models.
