Single Diode Analog Camera with Diffractive Flat Lens

I learned that you can improve the quality of laser reading of a cd with decreasing the diffraction in it with cutting a 45 degrees corner from the circles perimeter.

I thought single diode is not digital , its purely analog and works like a film , only recording medium could be selected from digital unit.

I thought , if we make a flat circular cd like lens and turn the single diode around its diffracting corners , we could transform this record to a image at a computer.
No glass , no lens , no pinhole , f :1 , cheap and costs 20 dollar with electronics.
