BTW if you want to zoom in on catalog numbers, descriptions, prices etc just click on my flikr picture, than click again, and the type gets VERY BIG.

Hopefully this list is helpful to some here, in terms of building up a Norma system. Also some here may not aware how much Norma stuff was actually available.

I've always called the Norma "The Erector Set of LF Photography". Nobody else is even close.

As it happens I bought a 4 X 5 Sinar Standard in 1966. To put the 1966 price of $468 in perspective: using an online inflation calculator, that would be $3692 today.

Too expensive. I turned 5 years old in October of 1966. I was lucky to have two pennies to scrape together. :D

Not expensive now. I just bought my fourth Norma yesterday, this one a second 4x5. It may need some general deep cleaning and new bellows, we will see. $220 plus shipping. Calumet C400 was $229 new

What it is all about for me, is the general plethora of parts and low prices sometimes for those. It's sort of like stamp collecting in a way; you know what it looks like, what it should cost, and you just wait for it to pop up.
