A month ago, I became a father. There were some complications and my wife and daughter spent a week getting care in the hospital. The good news is everyone is fine and my daughter is now a healthy one-month-old and my wife is recovering well.
NICU stays aren't cheap, and now that I've been a father for a month it's abundantly clear I won't have time for landscape photography for several years, so I've decided to start paring down my collection of cameras. I'm starting with a Sinar F1 kit I bought earlier this year when I was far more optimistic about how much free time I'd have post-birth. I bought from another fellow here on APUG ((there was a url link here which no longer exists)).
Here, as far as I can tell, is what comes in this lot, copy/pasted from last post with some edits:
Sinar F-1 standards with DOF calculator
two piece rail 7" and 11". and additional 18" rail. Makes a some 36" inches of rail, complete with caps!
Two normal bellows! So with center bellows frame (included) you still have a bellows for use as lens hood.
Wide angle Bellows. (for use with the short rail)
Barn door shade
Fresnel and ground glass.
6x7 Horseman roll holder and mask for ground glass/fresnel
Various rods and clips for bellows hood,
Joint rod.
Older Sinar Trunk case, holds it all!
Sinar rail clamp and tripod head.
Cable release
Slide-rule calculator for extension factors
Sinar manual/workbook with shoots and techniques/examples
At least eight 4x5 film holders
One Polaroid film holder (For sheets, not pack film).
LENSES, all mounted in Sinar boards. I don't have a lens wrench so
90mm Nikkor SW f5.6 NOT f8!
135mm Nikkor 135 f5.6 W
210 Sironar (Made by Rodenstock) f5.6 (Has slight coating blemish, but my shots from it turned out great)
Here's how we're going to do this: If someone wants this whole kit, the asking price is $1,700. That price will be divided as follows:
-$1,600 for me, minus the Paypal fee.
-The remaining $100 will be used for insured shipping to anyone in the U.S. (I'm guessing about $50). Whatever is left over will be donated to APUG.org for upkeep of the website.
I'm going to leave this up for one week. If no one offers to buy the whole kit in that time, I'll start parting out the whole kit. This is a fantastic kit and it stings me to let it go, but I have to put parenting before pictures.
