Dear all,
Newbie to Sinar and this forum – I’ve recently acquired Sinar P2 with its backs in different formats (4x5, 5x7 and 8x10). However, the DOF calculator that comes with the rear standard says “Sinar-Digital” and from its markings, I guess it is meant for a much smaller format.
I have a spare rear P standard with DoF scale for 4x5 but I am not sure if it would be a good idea to disassemble the two just to replace this part the exploded diagram and service manual suggest that this is not exactly a simple task.
May I ask if you guys know any resources where I can perhaps find the right sticker (or DIY one as it sounds quite simple if one has the right drawings) for the different Sinar film formats? I have seen DoF calculators on auction site listings that cater four formats from 6x9 across to 8x10, and it would be really nice to get something like that as I plan on switching between formats from time to time.
