Hello Team,

I have the Sinar Alpina which is a great beginner camera for me.

While shooting in Marfa, Texas I somehow lost the small aluminum tripod mounting plate that slides under the monorail, instead of the f series which is round rail, this one is a triangular extrusion for the rail on the Alpina.

A) does anyone know where this item might be located, I have no immediate plans to go to Switzerland.

B) does any member have a 3D printer?

I think this piece could be fabricated/extruded easily.

Appreciate any and all help on this!

Regards,

Harlequin

search for Sinar Alpina tripod block (or A1 tripod block). Glennview lists one on his web site. I don't think you can use plastic for this part, 3D printing it would be asking for a failure.
