Good evening,

I have to order for some chemicals and would like to do by myself a simple recipe for a paper developer (use specially baritate in fix contrast).
I used till now Neutol and I see that the agent there is only Hydroquinone. Which amount for a liter of water, and what else? (EDTA, potassium carbonate...?) Thanks.

Ansco 103 is just as simple with the same chemical ingredients, but is more neutral to cool toned. I just made some prints with both ID-78 and the Ansco 103 and thought the Ansco 103 did a very fine job. I wouldn't call it cold tone, but it is sligthly cooler than ID-78 when looking at the same print negative. Simple, but good! John W
