Does anyone know if Silverfast SE+ is compatible with the Nikon 5000ED/9000ED scanners?

The Silverfast site is not entirely clear on this. It appears that they would like to sell you a copy of Silverfast AI Studio, which costs four times as much...

Anyone?

Thanks in advance.

I think there might be a list of supported scanners on the Silverfast site.

I guess what I am asking is if all versions of Silverfast work with all the scanners they list on their site (which is rather confusing...)

Silverfast is designed to only work with the specific scanner it supports. So far as I know, that holds true rather you buy the AI or SE version. If you are looking for a multi-scanner solution take a look at the Vuescan Professional package. An outstanding value, but IMO, a bit more of a difficult program to use.

thanks everyone. I have Vuescan, but was looking for the multi-exposure feature that Silverfast offers.
Now with Nikonscan no longer working under OSX 10.7 this has become a pressing issue...

I'm make a second boot drive with 10.6.8 so. Can continue to use nikonscan....
Too bad that Nikon jumped ship. Now there is a huge gap in the market, both in tms of software and hardware.

Oh, well. Guess I'll have to start saving for that IMACON after all.
