OK, so the ONE TIME I forget to wear my gloves or bring my darkroom apron is the time I get the black stain of AgNetc on my fingers and a nice streak on a very cool and well loved Billabong T-shirt.

I figure, eventually, as my epidermis layers peel off, the finger stain will go away, but what about my T? Is it consigned to Goodwill?

Regards Art.

doesnt your Tshirt shed it's epidermis like your fingers?

Why not just relegate it to a "darkroom" tshirt?

I'd just call it a "darkroom shirt" like mm suggests, but there may be a potassium permanganate bleach that works without causing too much other trouble.

Simple solution is to use color paper blix, diluted with water with some extra DiSodium EDTA in it. This can be "developed by inspection" and does a fine job on clothes. Much gentler than farmers reducer and safer too.

Now my big secret is out.
