I, for one, am glad that there are no silver bullets. How mundane photography would be, if there were.

The only Silver Bullet I can think of is time... just time to do this thing called photography.

There is no silver bullet. Only through hard work and learning from your mistakes ( and the mistakes of others) will you get to where you want to be. Not just in photography, but other endeavors as well.

The last few years, I've spent money and time on travel - and that's been a huge positive for my photography. Travel gives you fresh ideas and perspectives, a motivation to learn difficult equipment, and inspiration from galleries and exhibitions, etc!
