Hi everyone!
So I recently used Silbersalz 500T for my 35mm film camera. When I put the film in the camera, it automatically sets to 250 ISO. I thought it was a mistake so I manually set it to 500 ISO. The results were great, loved it. Now I saw on the Silbersalz website that the DX-code was set on 250 ISO on purpose, to overexpose the film. The thing is, I haven't tried to overexpose my films yet, so it's kinda new to me. I want to buy the same film again and maybe try to use the recommended ISO. What would it change? Do I need to change any settings on my camera or should I know something specific when overexposing the film? Also should I tell my lab that I did this new setting?
I think it's an opportunity for me to learn about overexposure, if anyone can help me, I would be grateful. Otherwise, I'll keep setting my camera to 500T and I'll learn later in life lol.
Thanks
