Just spend a couple of hours in the darkroom after a long period in the dry. Did 8 sheets 4X5" in diafine. First four in the jobo didnt get enough chemistry to be totally covered, s... next four in the mod45........'darned also uneven developed. So ordered the rodinal I should have restocked long ago and promised myself id never run out again.
Best regards

Well, "sigh" is more PC than "Oh S."

You and I have been doing this a long time. Once in a while we take break. Rust seems to accumulate faster than it used to. We make mistakes and move on. We practice a little more and we are back in stride.

The ones I laugh at are the ones who don't shoot much. They make one of the 1000 possible mistakes and then yell and scream about their great loss as if it were my fault or the rest of the world's fault. In fact it is their fault and probably not the last, especially if they bother to shoot again.

So thank you for the "sigh". We are sorry, but now move on. The next images will be much better.

I've just discovered that I made a mistake in gluing three pieces in the wrong place in my forever "almost finished" 16x20 project. Too bad I did such a good job gluing. Now I need to remove the parts without damaging the surface below.
Just take a break, calm down and get back to work.

Buy one of these:
MrCad515919shop1.jpg
(for example eBay item number 281383856427 ).

Modify it and use it like this: http://freepdfhosting.com/f640343f29.pdf

You will have no more problems from then on.

Some will say this is an expensive and hard to find item etc. etc. but how important are your photographs to you? These processors are not hard to find on eBay. If you save a search for "Paterson Orbital" with email notifications, you'll soon be able to get one.

New gear won't do much but bring new and different problems, on those days when problems happen, that is. We had a saying around the school where I taught, "Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you." As the "sigh" seems to indicate, you know this and are determined to simply live through the mistakes. Good for you.

Yes. Back then i did 13x18 using it. Now I don't think I'd bother trying getting it back since Im satisfied with the jobo. My faillures are my own fault, mostly
Hmm though on the other hand, for development in diafine...........
Best regards
