The problem I have with my Hasselblads is that the lenses are quite bulky and don't leave much room for a cable release with a large end. Hasselblad has addressed this by making a cable release extension that is bent in the middle and, therefore, slightly angled. That gets the end of the cable release out and away from the crowding problem caused by the lenses. You might consider buying one.
As for the above, it appears to be a pneumatic release and those are primarily used on view cameras, studio cameras, and rail cameras, etc. They are connected to a fixture that is right on top of the shutter release and it takes very little effort to trip the shutter. Hasselblads have a somewhat complicated mechanical drive to get from the body into the lens. Hasselblads take slightly more effort to trip the shutter.
Therefore, I recommend that you stick with a standard cable release and the best one you can afford. Cheap cable releases are a curse.
