The Rapax was made by Wollensak, was rebadged Graphex when used on Graphic Press cameras, the Raptar lens was rebadged Optar.

The assembly instructions for the #1 shutter is incorrect sequence but the sequence for the #2/#3 shutter is correct and applicable to the #1 by skipping the steps for parts not used in the #1 shutter.
Been there, done that a few times with success. Its not a hard shutter to service.

It is good to know of a camera repair company in "where the pavement ends and the West begins, beautiful Fort Worth". They have a great zoo there as well as a Botanical Garden, not to mention some world-class museums..........Regard
