I just shot a roll of Velvia 50 in my Horizon Perfekt panoramic camera. I was using a light meter app on my phone on reflective mode to meter the scenes.
Unfortunately I had previously been shooting with 1.5 stops of exposure compensation as I had been using a deep yellow filter for B&W film. I left these settings in the app whilst I shot the Velvia. Essentially metering it at about 20 ISO.
I was metering for the highlights and also almost all of the shots were beach/sea landscapes and I didn't make any exposure adjustments for the bright conditions. I know the suggestion is often to add 1-2 stops extra exposure in these conditions.
Should I ask for the film to be pulled? If so should I ask for 1 stop or 1.5? Does Velvia 50 pull ok?
The shots aren't the most important but I would be sad to lose them as they were from a nice family holiday.
You'll get all sort of advice here. If it's worth the time and expense, the best thing might be to shoot another roll under the same conditions, and send it off to a lab. Some labs will do a clip test -- you can ask them to clip three frames and develop with a pull, then develop the remainder of the roll normally.
