The results of shooting and also developing my first roll of slide film was a wow moment for me. Viewing the film on the light table was stunning. Not from an artistic perspective but from a color, clarity and "punch" perspective. I was really impressed.

My film journey so far over the last year or so has been with C-41 so I wanted to try slide film at least so I could say that I've tried it. Bought the Tetenal 5L kit and took out some Fuji Provia 100 and my GF670. Processed on a Jobo CPP. After seeing the results on the light table, I feel like I want to shoot 8x10 and make us some little self contained light panels to hang on the wall.

This was fun and a thrill which is why I love photography so much.

Cheers,

Ned

P.S. This camera phone image does not do the film justice and makes it looks like there is vignetting, etc. The slide on the right is glass mounted and waiting to go into my Leafscan 45

Congratulations Ned!
I remember when I projected my first slides 30 years ago, it was magic.

I remember when I did my first roll of colour reversal. I went out and shot another 5 rolls the next day, and purchased more chemistry to process immediately. That makes me wish Ciba-chrome was still around, but that is a topic for another thread.

I use a 6x4.5 back on my RB67 when I want slides I can project on my medium format projectors.
