Hi,
I hope this is the right place for this question,

Anyone know of a short tripod for a Crown Graphic and smaller?
I would like it to range from about 2 ft up to ft?
I want to get close to the ground for flowers, rocks and bugs .
I don't think a Gorilla Pod would work weight wise.
Any ideas would help,

Thanks,

Dan

I have a Manfrotto 055 that goes that low and that can take your Crown Graphic for shure.
You will need the low angle adapter for it, it repaces the central post.
Verry stable setup that serves as a good general tripod aswell.

Gitzos can be fitted with a flat plate or a short column and have adjustable legs, so they can go to a few inches above the ground. Some tripods like the Tiltall have a reversible column, so you can hang the camera upside down. I had a Bogen for many years that had a tripod screw on the bottom of the column, so the head could be attached there for low angle work.

There are also some short tripods for low angle work. I saw a nice wooden one made by Wolf a while back.

Thanks for your suggestions, I appreciate the responses.
