I just received a Canonflex SLR and 50mm f/1.8 lens as a gift. Overall, the body is clean and seems functional, the one significant problem is that the film advance is rather stiff. The glass seems to be clean as well, but the diaphragm is stuck at f/16.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a shop that works on older Canon equipment?

Thanks in advance!

You might want to try Essex Camera in Carlstadt, NJ. They worked on my Minolta's including my XK. A friend trusts them with all his Canon's & Nikons. I will be bringing my FTBn to them soon.
