Hello photographer friends, I'm selling my Shen Hao TC617A 617 camera. The negative is just slightly smaller than 4x5 and you can scan the film with a flatbed scanner and make mural width prints.
When I started with the 617 format, initially I bought the Fotoman "hardbody" style camera, then quickly upgraded to the Shen Hao PTB617 folding version of this camera. The Shen Hao is a proper view camera with all the movement you need, which are not available in hardbody 617 cameras (the pricier ones have minimal shift, but nothing else). The SH takes standard Technika boards.
IMO, the TC617A is better than the folding PTB617 version with better zero detent and knob controls. Slightly harder to pack in a hiking pack, but the tradeoff is worth it. Some wear marks on the front standard but otherwise looks great and works great.
New versions are going for $3500 with 3-4 weeks wait. Get this for $2850 US FedEx/UPS shipping included. PayPal G&S only. International shipping at cost.
I will also be selling the "Rolls Royce" of the 150mm 4x5 lens, the Rodenstock 150mm/5.6 APO Sironar S. There might be another lens or two as sharp and contrasty, but they are much bigger. Pictures and post tomorrow.
Finally, I will also be selling a 480mm APO Ronar 8x10 lens. Again, more info later.
