I bought this camera 2 or 3 years ago and used it maybe 6 times. I wanted to replace an old Calumet 8x10 which weighed 18 pounds! Why am I selling it? Because I have a Wista 8x10 that's lighter and simpler. I'm 70 years old. No lens but it comes with a Sinar size board adaptible for a Technica.
It works fine, silky smooth focus, rise, tilt, swings, etc. I even used it once with an old 27" lens with no shutter - the exposures were so long I just used a lens cap; that lens weighs a ton and the camera racked out was still very solid. I always had great confidence in this: it's as rugged as a metal camera, beautiful looking, and has the handy rear rise too. I'm happy to keep it, but someone out there may as well get some use out of it, yeah?
These pictures aren't the actual camera, but trust me, the thing is like new. I take obsessive care with my stuff. There might be a few scratches around the tripod hole. New this thing is about $5.800 from Badger.
