I got a chance to mix and store my chemicals today, and decided to follow up with a few observations.

I measured the Bleach and Fixer from the F2 kit; the Bleach bladder did indeed contain precisely 1L, and the Fixer bladder contained 2.165 L of concentrate. Oh, getting the liquids out of the F2 bladders... Once you take the caps off, they are still sealed by a Schrader valve; if you take the handle off a small binder clip, push it down into the valve (while the top is still facing up) and let it's little hooks get into the holes in the sides of the valve, it will remain open and allow the liquid to be poured/squeezed out.

The final rinse concentrate was not labeled with a quantity, only that it makes 1.5L of solution. I measured 27.5 mL of Final Rinse concentrate, which to make 1.5 L of solution is actually about 2x that of what is suggested in CIS-49, but the solution being a bit stronger shouldn't hurt.

Also, I was using distilled water for making my solutions, and all the solutions came out clear (well except for the bleach which is used as is). But after mixing all the chemicals, when I rinsed everything under regular tap water, everything that was used with Developer Part-C yielded a dark pink liquid; so I'm glad I used distilled water, since something in the tap water was reacting with the chemicals.

Also the Fixer should be dealt with in a well ventilated area, it a bit wiffy.

MSDS Safety Data Sheets for all the chemicals and solutions used in the process are attached to this post...
