There is a public darkroom facility in Glasgow. It is called Street Level Photoworks and is located in King Street which is right in the City centre. You could try contacting them to see about using their facilities, or they might be able to recommend someone who could do the work for you. The only traditional shop left in the City is Merchant City Cameras in Parnie Street, which is next to King Street. The shop has a website. It supplies film, chemistry and paper, mainly Ilford. The Glasgow School of Art has a department of Fine Art Photography. They still work with film and they do a bit of 5x4. You could try giving the department a call to see if they could recommend anyone locally. There are plenty of good locations for photography in and around Glasgow. For great scenery you should look at the Island of Arran which is easily accessible from Glasgow by road or rail. I hope you have a great trip.
