Ole was right. There are as many answers as there are photographers! It is interesting to see what different photographers have settled on (for the time being

It reinforces the thought that you need to master your materials (whatever they are), and are able to consistently produce the pre-visualized image.

Efke 100, Efke 25, FP4 and TMY 5x7 and 8x10 sheet film all developed in Pyrocat MC that I mix from scratch.

Tri-x in Wd2d+ for 35mm and 120.
Tri-x in Pyrocat MC for 8x10. I just tried it and I'm amazed by this !
Tri-x in Rodinal for 8x10 (before pyrocat experience...)
