The horizontal cross pieces are all about 8.5 inches long, so they apparently all are made to fit in 8x10 tanks. I doubt any one brand is better or worse than another, but they are being sold in lots by maker's label because loading different hangers in the dark is probably rather..."frustrating".
ALSO have one Yankee sheet film developing tank with loading guide for 2x3, 3x4 and 4x5 film. These work fairly well if you agitate so that chemicals slosh parallel to (and between) the film sheets and not 90 degrees to them. $20 plus shpg.
