Sharing some nude photos I like.

I think there is a language barrier here.

I'm simply saying I shoot whomever is available and interested, and don't make them do anything for the shoot, I take them as they come.

That's what I'm saying.

I then added my personal preference which is un-shaven.

Most of the girls I shoot are not my lovers but models.

Does that clear things up?

Hey,
I had to go away for some days but I am back... I just read all the responses.

For those who notice the tension, this is the photographs theme. The pain of love, anxiety of incertitude and loneness.

About the lighting split on the background, it is intentional. The background drape is folded to simulate a stage curtain. The idea is not to look at the models just as women posing but to introduce them as a piece of sculpture.

About the skin marks... Yes, I don't like it aether. I ask models to come with clothes that don't leave deep marks but some times they don't listen. And we wait for the marks desapear but it take too long time some times. It is a shame...

About the rules... I didn't know.

Thanks for the comments and maybe some of you guys could share what you have done in the nude field (But don't post your nude self portrait hehehe).

This is funny because I never had receive comments showing the tension and background wasn't clear as intentional.

Not that I'm going to post any nude self-portraits, but what pray tell is wrong with that idea?

I like the second and last one best.

Also I have to wonder if the OP assumes all the photographers are male? There are a few beautiful women photographers here that he might regret not seeing in a nude self portrait haha

Truthfully, the only true new that I've ever taken, was actually when I was teaching someone else about photography, and while we were there and we were shooting her nude, The light was just perfect and I just saw this chair without a seat and got an idea, I decided what the heck! However it's not a film image visual image because I only had the opportunity to use her camera, Nikon *shudder* cheap non-pro camera, it's fine in this size, but larger and you can see how bad the CA and other aspects of the lens / pixels are.

But since we are breaking the rules on this thread anyway... And since the OP requested not to post them, it's like saying "don't push the red button" haha...without further ado...

Great, Scott. I find the rear torso one rather Mapplethorpian; and I like your likening of the young man in the last one to the curtain behind him.

The first male nude photos I have tried to shoot was with my brother as model and I found it difficult to photograph male nude. With women it is easier find a good body composition which match the women body language and personality. While with man I found all my shots weird, because it was a male nude with female body language, and it wasn't intentionally but I just was trying to find a good body composition and probably my experience with female models influenced on it.

My brother when looked at it he said "you made me look/pose like gay".

Nothing against homosexuality but it is clear to me that photograph male and female are two completely different things with different body composition and visual language.

Out of curiosity, how do my male nudes strike you, given your comments regarding your experience photographing your brother? Are they, in your perception, masculine or feminine, or somewhere in between?

A Weiner in the shot is pretty masculine...

I take lots of self portraits...

I don't usually take full nudes. I like imagination...

I think we can all be mature adults in this conversation and call a penis a penis. I realize not everyone is comfortable with the body, nudity and/or sexuality. To me, the "leaves something to the imagination" comment is indicative of continuing association of nudity with pornography, eroticism and/or sexuality, when they don't have a mutually inclusive correlation.

Fair enough. I'm too tired to debate the nudity issue; only to say its just not my thing. As for the "penis/Weiner" comment... I blame that on too much time spent with my 5 year old.
