Shapeways 3-d printed lens hood for 35 color skopar 2.5?

Can anyone speak to how well this functions, and especially how much it intrudes into the viewfinder window?

will be using on a konica hexar rf. Like the look of the rectangle hood way more, but maybe better to just get the round vented one?

I have the one for the 40mm 1.4 Voigtlander lens, as the original hood blocked the rf window on my Minolta CLE. It's great, I'd buy it again. The one for the 35 Skopar 2.5 is shorter and so I believe them when they say it barely blocks the VF. However it is $32.50 and you can get a vented metal round hood of ebay for $5-$10. I have a few of those and now feel silly that I bought OEM ones for over $100. They work the same.
