Hi Snapshot,

Thanks for taking the time to look. There are indeed possible issues, but for em the results well and truly speak for themselves - I routinely get great negatives with the minimum of fuss (I must confess that it did feel a bit like cheating when I first tried it!). I will be posting more about my Semi-Stand process and about the Fuji in action!

I take my martini inverted... Its not as gentle as a stir but does ensure there will be no silt setteling n does a good job keeping my film in fresh solution.

A settling of silt tends to ruin a drink. Now...when you drink your Martini, which is inverted? You or the drink??

I've been using the method ilford lists with excellent results. They recommend four inversions during the first ten seconds of each minute along with a good firm tap to get the bubbles out.

This is pretty much what I do, although I hadn't seen the Ilford recommendation. Four inversions, more or less, and a bang on the counter...well, a medium firm bang. Or whatever!
